Nauplius stage in bright field, transmitted light, BX-60 microscope

The nauplius was taken as a test shot on the Olympus BX-60 (flash light, bright field, transmitted light). The flash mirror box that Michael Müller and I are developing was tested. In the flash mirror box, flash light from a Godox V1 Pro flash unit is reflected into the light path parallel to the light from the normal lamp house. The modelling light has to be subordinated so that it is not effective.

The microscope objective was an UPlanSAPO 40x, and the PE-2.5 was used as the projective. Shots were taken with the Nikon Z9 at ISO 200.

As you can see in the 100 % view, the flash unit does its job and freezes the movements completely. Power setting on the flash unit: 1/256.
