Eight of us met up in the Muehlviertel. Six women and two men didn't pay attention to the bad weather forecast and were proved right in the end. The rain held off until the end 🙂
On Saturday morning, we went into an unspoilt beech forest, the green of the fresh leaves was a dream. Then back to Schloss Weinberg for breakfast and then to the Feldaist (small river) and the coffee house, where we could even sit outside. We spent the afternoon at the Waldaist (small river) and in the Tannermoor. The hardy ones catched a nice sunset after dinner. On Sunday morning, we visited another spot on the Feldaist and then continued on to breakfast and a chat. At the end, we went to the same spot on the Feldaist as on Saturday. The sun had ruined our plans there the day before. I would never have thought that the weather gods would be so kind to us. We only had real rain on the journey home.
